A second generation engineer, Jamey has been brought up learning the ways of the recording industry. Born in Calgary AB, Canada he is a trained luthier with over 4 years of experience in fretted instrument repair and custom design. Now as the chief audio technician at HB Media's world class audio mastering lab he puts his knowledge of music into making sure your mixes sound their absolute best for duplication or digital download.

Jamey has experience with all genres of music and has worked on major label releases. Since taking over Jamey has mastered projects for several different recording studios and local artists in the Alberta and British Columbia area. He has experience with both analog and digital audio production and is able to master projects for CD, Vinyl, and digital distribution.

In addition Jamey has also guest lectured audio courses offered at SAIT in which he demonstrates the concepts of mixing and mastering, the theories behind proper monitoring and his expertise in audio spectrum editing.
